FORM GENERATION

This is a form generated with Isosurf , which is a command line application that allows you to interpolate between grayscale in 3 dimensions. This form was created using images of hexagonal tiles from a bathroom floor. I wanted the patterns on the lowest plane of our existence to inform the form of our spaces.

WORK FLOW

The workflow was 72 photographs of tiles > blurred and transformed > converted to RAW > coded using  Isosurf > Blender (IGES) > Maya (OBJ) > Zedit > Rapid prototype using Zcorp
